Many of you asked for it and after a surprisingly long journey, we’re finally launching our new USB-C CableKit. This new version has the same great compact design but with a USB-A to USB-C main cable. It’s a great product for anyone whose primary phone uses a USB-C charging cable (Basically anything that's not an iPhone).
More and more small electronic devices are switching to USB-C and this new CableKit is the perfect solution for charging them on the go.

Hi Backers,
Happy New Year and New Decade! I just wanted to send out a few reminders about shipping and thank you all once again for your support as we build our small business. We've received some great feedback from you guys about your CableKits and we're hoping they prove to be handy, particularly in a pinch.
All orders were shipped out by 12/20/19 for everyone who completed their survey with a few exceptions where the address wasn't working. Several of you have completed your survey since then and they should be shipped out this week if they haven't already. A few of you still haven't completed your survey or your credit card for upgrades didn't work. We've sent several reminder emails with your survey link but please email [email protected] if you need the link.
If you haven't gotten your package, please remember that international shipments can take up to 4-5 weeks in some countries. If you need your tracking number you can check your Backerkit account or email [email protected] if you need a link. If you have any issues with your shipment or CableKit, please email support and we'll be happy to help sort things out.
We've had a few comments about high customs duties/VAT, primarily in UK. Each country has different rules but there should be a threshold below which you don't need to pay duties (39 Pounds in the UK) and above that it can be 20% or more on the shipment value including shipping costs depending on your country. Ugh. There's not much we can do about it but if you think you have been incorrectly charged for duties you can email [email protected] preferably with your customs receipt and we'll see what we can do.

CableKits are on there way!

Hi Backers,
A quick update to let you know we got the CableKits in from the vendor Tuesday afternoon. There are 17 boxes like the image below. We tested several samples and they work great and look great.
We've been shipping like mad since Tuesday night and have most of the orders out the door. We've brought about four batches like the image below to the post office. If you haven't gotten an email confirmation with tracking number yet it should be in your inbox shortly.
Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly with shipping. We wish you all happy holidays and a wonderful new year.

Update to our last update - All orders should be fulfilled Dec 19

Hi Backers,
The Fedex tracking for our air freight delivery of CableKits is now saying we won't have inventory until next Wednesday, Dec 18. We are in the process of getting everything else ready for all our orders so as soon as they arrive we will have all hands on deck to fill envelopes and ship them out in one day. At this point there is not much more we can do other than as soon as the products arrive we will drop everything and work through these as fast as we can to get them out the door.
What this means for you.
If you are in the US you should be set to receive your CableKits before Christmas barring any other delays of our inventory. I realize some of you may be travelling for the holidays. We have already locked the shipping addresses but if you would like us to ship to a different address please email [email protected] with your name, and holiday address by Sunday 12/15 and we will manually update it.
If you are in not in the US and upgraded to Fedex priority shipping there is a chance you will receive it in time for Christmas but it's very tight. According to Fedex, international priority shipping takes 1-3 business days with most major cities in Europe and Asia taking 2 days. With the holiday season though it's a crap shoot. Unfortunately, due to the uncertain nature, we can't update your address at this point.
Regular international orders likely won't be delivered until the new year.
For those of you who wanted to have these as Christmas gifts, we're really hoping they arrive in time. We will do everything we can on our end to make it happen. In any case, we are sorry for the delays we've experienced and we appreciate your patience as we navigate this difficult process.
When we launched our campaign in June, I fully expected we would be able to ship product in October. We're a small team (currently 2.5 of us) and keeping this project on track as well as managing the daily aspects of running the business has been a challenge to say the least. As a small business, these delays have been costly as we have missed out on selling these CableKits over the Christmas holiday season, which as you know is the most important time of year for sales. But on a personal level, it's disappointing to not be able to deliver these great products to our backers in the time frame we had said we would.
My new years resolution for 2020 is to focus on fewer things and do those few things exceptionally well. I wish you all a merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a wonderful new year!

Just a quick update to let you know that CableKits are on their way to Lever Gear and we will be shipping them out as soon as we receive them. I haven't gotten the tracking number but they should be arriving Thurs or Friday.
You should have received an email from us via Backerkit alerting you that addresses are being locked down. If you have recently moved and have not let us know or updated your shipping info, please update your info on Backerkit now. If you need your Backerkit link or are unsure how to change your address please email [email protected] and we will help you out.
This has been a longer than expected journey for us with a lot of back and forth with the manufacturer but the end is finally in sight. We thank you for your continued support and we're so excited to get these CableKits to you.
